Where can I find cheap slot punches for badges?

The badges are stiff and fairly thin, easy enough for a normal hole punch, but the slot punches for clips look much nicer. These are for personal projects, notoffice badge grade, so I don't see the point in spending $40-50+ in it. Any suggestions on retailers or online shops would be great. Thanks in advance!

Go to an auto parts store (like Pep Boys) and buy a section of stainless steel brake line. Hammer to an oval shape, sharpen the edge on a bench grinder. You could also do the same with a steel shaft golf club, bought at a thrift store.
